Pete
Gascoyne, drummer and singer, is also Judy's husband. Pete
started
playing the drums at age 11 and played in the high school's concert and marching
bands in his teens. He also organized some very short-lived bands during
that
time for talent shows. In art school, he joined another short-lived band,
Art Attack.
After moving to California, he joined the Celtic Rock band, Avalon Rising, who put out an album containing one of his songs. He was also in the pop band, Orangutango, and a progressive rock trio called Band Sinister before meeting Judy and joining her band, Psychotic Melodic. Later, they formed Hugg and finally, The Groovy Judy Band.
